Gaming is the biggest entertainment industry on the planet. Humans of all ages and sexes play. Its big business, a sport and as much part of our culture as music, literature, or movies. Gaming is also a driver in the Metaverse. We will give an overview of metaverse-like platforms such as Roblox or Fortenite and metaverse platforms such as The Sandbox, Decentraland and other play-to-earn platforms.
